Look Years Younger Without Surgery
Botox can soften the expression lines that make you look tired, stressed, or older than you feel.
At Bella Medspa, Botox in Philadelphia is used to treat common concerns such as forehead lines, frown lines between the brows, crow’s feet, bunny lines, and other wrinkles caused by repeated facial movement.
Your injector will tailor the Botox placement and dosage to your facial features, helping smooth visible lines while preserving natural expression.
Bella Medspa is recognized as one of the top 3% of Allergan providers in the U.S., with licensed injectors, medical oversight from Dr. Avidon Appel, and more than 20 years of experience helping clients achieve refreshed, natural-looking results.
Where Botox Makes
The Biggest Difference
Botox can refresh areas where repeated facial movements, muscle tension, or overactive sweat glands are affecting how you look or feel.
At Bella Medspa, our injectors commonly use Botox to treat:
Forehead lines (typically 10–20 units)
Frown lines (typically 20 units)
Crow’s feet (typically 12–24 units)
Bunny lines (typically 4–10 units)
Brow lift (typically 4–10 units)
Lip flip (typically 4–8 units)
When Botox May Be The Right Choice for You
Botox works best for lines caused by repeated facial movement, especially around the forehead, brows, and eyes.
By relaxing targeted muscles, Botox or Dysport can help your skin look smoother while keeping your expressions soft and natural.
Botox may be a good fit if:
- You want to soften lines across your forehead or between your eyebrows
- You’re noticing crow’s feet when you smile, squint, or laugh
- Your wrinkles are caused by movement instead of sagging skin or lost volume
- You want a quick treatment with little to no downtime
- You prefer a refreshed look that develops gradually
- You want to treat fine lines before they become deeper
If your main concerns are lost fullness, facial contouring, or deeper wrinkles, dermal fillers may give you a better result.
If you want to improve your skin texture, tone, pores, firmness, or radiance, we may recommend treatments like microneedling, laser skin resurfacing, or chemical peels as a more suitable starting point.

Every Stage of Your Botox Treatment
Before Your Appointment
Arrive with clean skin, and avoid alcohol or blood-thinning medications for 24-48 hours before your visit to reduce the risk of bruising.
During Your Appointment
Your Botox visit usually takes about 15-30 minutes, depending on the areas being treated, and you may feel a few quick pinches during placement.
After Your Appointment
You can return to most of your normal activities right away, and any mild redness or swelling usually fades within a day or two as your results start to appear.
What to Know About Botox Side Effects
Botox is generally well tolerated when administered by a trained, licensed injector, but temporary side effects can occur.
- Bruising, redness, swelling, or tenderness at the injection sites
- A temporary headache or feeling of heaviness in the treated area
- Mild asymmetry while the Botox settles
- Less commonly, temporary eyelid or brow drooping
Botox is generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for people with certain neuromuscular conditions. You should also tell your injector about any medications, allergies, infections near the treatment area, or previous reactions to Botox before your appointment.
Botox vs. Dysport vs. Daxxify vs. Dermal Fillers
Botox, Dysport, and Daxxify reduce muscle activity that causes expression lines. Dermal fillers work differently by restoring volume beneath the skin.
Select a treatment to compare
Botox, Dysport, and Daxxify units are not interchangeable. Your injector will recommend the right product, dose, and placement based on your facial anatomy, muscle strength, treatment history, and goals.
