How Does Laser Hair Removal Work?

Laser Hair Removal is a FANTASTIC invention! Before lasers our only options were shaving, waxing, tweezing, depilatories or electrolysis—ouch, yuck, oh no! (show cuts on leg, ingrown hairs/discoloration on bikini, stubble/missed hairs on face). None of these are any good for truly smooth touchable skin!
Enter: physics! The combination of a specialized light wavelength and the pigment in your hair creates a thermal reaction along the hair and into the root system. This controlled injury damages the root system, permanently suppressing its ability to grow hair. (show laser energy travelling along hairs, bursting apart their root systems)
Your body expels these bits of hair over the next few days to weeks. (show hairs being expelled, and broken up hair follicle material working its way to the surface of skin)
Only root systems with actively growing hairs are susceptible to the damaging effects of the laser. Since you have thousands of hairs growing in any area, and those hairs grow in phases, you will need several treatments over the course of about 6 to 12 months. Most folks see about a 15% reduction in the hairs growing in any area with each laser hair removal treatment—depending on skin type and other factors. (show dormant hair follicles coming to life and another laser treatment, energy traveling along hairs, bursting apart root system, etc)
Even if you only do one treatment you will see a permanent reduction in the hair—which means smoother, sexier skin with less irritation (show sparkly smooth legs, cute bikini, cute/pretty face)
