What is Coolsculpting
CoolSculpting® is a revolutionary non-surgical procedure that freezes stubborn fat, naturally reducing its appearance and boosting your confidence in the process. No needles, no special diets, no supplements, and no surgery required. And unlike liposuction, there is no downtime.
How Much Does Coolsculpting Cost?
The cost for coolsculpting will vari widley based on the goals of the client, the amount of fat present and the number of areas that are treated. Some areas will require multiple cycles (treatments) which will increase the cost. Some of our clients are better candidates for Smart Lipo, which is a minimally invasive fat removal process. The amount of fat that is removed per cycle also varis per person so the out come is not definate before post treatment results. Ob the other hand, the smart lipo proceedue uses a laser (also known as laser lipo) to burn away the unwanted fat giving a more difinative result
That said, Coolsculpting can run anywhere $800 to several thousand dollars for multiple body areas and multiple cycles. At some point it makes more sense for the client to explore Smart Lipo simply from a cost perspective which typically runs about $8,000 to $12,000
How Does Coolsculpting Work?
CoolSculpting uses a procedure known as cryolipolysis to freeze and reduce the appearance of stubborn fat cells. According to a study by clinicians at the NYU School of Medicine, cryolipolysis reduced unwanted fat in the treatment area by as much as 25%—and the results were still present 6 months after treatment!
Crylipolysis destroys fat cells by using controlled cooling technology to reduce body temperature in the treatment area to about 39 degrees Fahrenheit. At this stage, the cells die permanently without damage to the surrounding tissue. The liver excretes the dead fat cells out of the body within a few weeks after the initial treatment, and you can reap the full benefits of this fat reduction treatment within just a few months.
How Long Does Coolsculpting Last?
The fat cells that are killed during the fat freezing process are removed permanently. Becuase they are dead they cannot return. Fat cells in your body don’t multiply but they do increase and shrink in sized based on caloric intake and expenditure. Your will have fewer fat cells after your coolsculpting treatment but the fat cells that remain can increase in size which in turn could increase visible fat.
Is Coolsculpting FDA cleared?
Yes. The FDA has tested for treatment results and has cleared coolsculpting to be safe and effective.
What body areas can be treated?
Treatable areas include abdomen, flanks, upper waist (bra fat), arms, inner and outer thighs, “man boobs”.
What results can I expect?
After extensive testing the FDA has determined that on average a 20 to 25% reduction of fat in the treated area can be expected.

Because every person’s body fat deposits differ, a hands on evaluation must be conducted to determine price. Consultations are free, so coming in for an evaluation will cost you nothing.
What happens during the treatment?
The treatment is initiated by positioning the device on your body. The device draws the fat bulge up into a cooling panel. You will then feel a firm pull and pressure. It is the combination of the pressure and cooling that allows the tissue to be cooled effectively. The pressurized cooling is applied for one hour per body area treated.
CoolSculpting is completely non-invasive, so typically you can resume your normal activities immediately. Some redness, tingling, minor bruising, numbness or discomfort may be experienced in the treated area, but this is temporary and will resolve completely. Most often, patients can return to work and other activities after the session is over.
How long until I see results?
Changes may be visible as soon as three weeks after your treatment. You will experience the most dramatic results after one to three months. Four to six months after treatment your body will still be flushing fat cells and you will continue to see fat reduction.
