Bella Injector Shadowing Program

Thank you for your interest in the Injector Shadowing Program. The goal of this program is to help further apply the skills you have learned in a basic injecting course and build a portfolio to showcase your skills as an injector for prospective job opportunities. The program was designed by our talented team, a Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant who saw a need to help bridge some gaps after you finish the basic injector training course and help you succeed as a cosmetic injector.

The program is designed to work with your schedule, offering shadowing opportunities Monday through Friday in which you will shadow our Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant while learning how to assess a patient, product selection, follow-up, overview of anatomy, danger areas, complications and common injecting areas.

There will be a total of up to 5 shadowing days and 3 days of injecting to build your portfolio. During the injecting days you will be injecting clients with guidance from our injector. Clients will be offered discounts on filler (Juvéderm and Restylane) and neurotoxin (Botox, Dysport) for participation. When selecting clients, we require NO filler in the past 6 months and NO neurotoxin (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin or Jeuveau) in the past 4 months. Pictures are required prior to injecting. You will have the opportunity to inject Hyaluronic Acid filler into the cheek and lips for volume while neurotoxin will be injected to soften lines in the glabellar complex (11’s), crow’s feet and frontalis (forehead).

We offer two options for the program which include:

  • Two days a week for 4 weeks or
  • One day a week for 8 weeks.

You get to decide which option works best for your schedule!

Requirements for entry to the program include:

  • Basic injection Certification Course completed
  • Worked in healthcare for 1 year or more
  • Passion for aesthetics

We require a deposit of $1000 to secure your spot. The program must be paid PRIOR to injecting. Total programm cost is $5999.99.

You don’t have to look too far to see that cosmetic injectables are in high demand. The tools in the cosmetic injector’s tool-belt provide fantastic results without surgery and with near zero downtime.

For the patient, neurotoxins and dermal fillers offer men and women a way to correct facial “flaws” and address issues that go along with aging with an in-office “lunchtime” procedure.

For the medial professional, cosmetic injectables offer a rewarding and lucrative career. An outstanding nurse injector is a dedicated clinician, an insightful and skilled salesperson and a masterful artist. She is a trusted advisor with a loyal clientele and a full book of appointments. But how to get the necessary cosmetic nurse injector training so that you can reap the rewards of this fantastic industry?

Botox Training With a Different Approach

Cosmetic nurse injector training programs are sorely lacking. Most of them are one or two days, and they cover only the very basics of neurotoxin and filler application. You may get to inject one or two fellow attendees or a model you bring. Afterward, you are left to find a doctor, nurse or establishment that will provide the fertile ground for you to continue your training and help you develop your skills so that you can begin performing these procedures on your own. It can be nearly impossible to find a practice that will bring you in and train you. This can be frustrating for the would-be injector, and may leave you feeling like you wasted your money.

Our program is different! We offer a 3 month Intensive cosmetic nurse injector training program where you will not only get the basics all the other two day programs offer but you will also work alongside an experienced cosmetic nurse injector two times a week in our facility. You will have a unique vantage point to learn the entirety of the clinical practice of the cosmetic injectable process from the intake and evaluation of each patient, to the consultative sales process to the actual procedure itself.

You will be present for and learn:

1. Neurotoxins (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, etc) all applications for face including glabella, forehead, crows feet, bunny lines, dimpled chin, “gummy smile”, “lip flip”, masseter muscle for facial slimming; excessive sweating of forehead, scalp, hands, feet and underarms.

2. Dermal Fillers (Juvederm, Voluma, Restylane, Belotero, Radiesse, etc) all applications for face including lip augmentation, chin augmentation, naso-labial fold correction, marionette line correction, restoring volume to and reshaping of the cheek, restoring volume to temples, reshaping and enhancing jaw line

3. Kybella for submental fat reduction

4. Sclerotherapy for leg veins

By the end of our three month cosmetic nurse injector training course, you will be proficient in and demonstrate the following: neurotoxin for glabella, forehead and crows feet; dermal filler for lips, cheeks and naso-labial fold; kybella for submental fat. You will have developed a before and after portfolio of a minimum of 12 patient examples of your own work.

Further, upon completing the program, you will have seen up to 200 clinical esthetic patient visits in real time, in an intimate setting, and logged in over 100 hands-on hours as a cosmetic nurse injector. As we have five offices throughout south eastern PA we may be able to place you for employment in one of our facilities. As skilled cosmetic injectors are in high demand, if we are unable to place you in one of our facilities, our long-standing relationships with other professionals and reps in the field will help you obtain a job.

If you’re a registered nurse and are looking for a way to break into the exciting and lucrative world of cosmetic injectables but you want a truly intensive and dynamic cosmetic injectable training program that will arm you with the tools you need to provide outstanding results and the skills to land a high-paying job, give us a call and start training today!

Bella Medspa Botox & Filler Training Reviewed by Marie James RN - Philadelphia, PA Botox review

"...I would recommend the Bella Medspa Three Month Intensive Cosmetic Nurse Injector Training to anyone looking to break into this field."

"I had already taken a two day neurotoxin and filler course and it was great but it was clear that I needed much more. I wanted to find a practice that could offer me the fertile ground I needed to really develop my skills. The Three Month Intensive Cosmetic Nurse Injector training at Bella Medspa was exactly what I was looking for.

Basically, you’re embedded with an experienced and talented cosmetic nurse injector for three months. From the very first day I learned so much. Not only did I see so many different treatments and procedures up close but getting to hear the conversation between the patient and nurse and how to evaluate each unique situation was crucial. The nurses were incredibly generous with their information and skills and I learned so much as they walked both me and the patient through every procedure. At eight weeks I did my first practical with botox and juvederm. It was really thrilling to finally be able to do treatments, but it also enabled me to see where I still needed to refine my skills. By the end of the course, I was also working with kybella and doing advanced procedures with filler.

After I completed the training course I was hired by Bella Medspa. I love working with these fantastic products. I love my patients! The cost of the program is totally worth it! I made that back and then some within just a few months of completing the course. I would recommend the Bella Medspa Three Month Intensive Cosmetic Nurse Injector Training to anyone looking to break into this field. I don’t know of any other comparable program out there. **
